On Monday, January 20, 2025, His Excellency Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region, received Arman Topcu, Consul General of Turkey in the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting، the two sides stressed the need to develop and continue relations between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region on the basis of common interests، and agreed on the importance of maintaining regional security and stability and keeping Iraq out of conflicts and tensions in neighboring countries.
The latest developments in the political and security situation in the region، changes and developments in Syria and the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel in Gaza were another topic of discussion.
