The Prime Minister of Iraq has arrived in Turkey on an official visit

On Friday, November 1, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani arrived in Turkey on an official visit and will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In this regard, the Iraqi Prime Minister's Office said in a statement, a copy of which was obtained by the PUK Council, that the Iraqi Prime Minister arrived in the Turkish capital Ankara and met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, without providing any further information.

Mohammed Shia al-Sudani on Thursday chaired a meeting of the special committee to review the agreements and understandings between Iraq and Turkey in various fields signed during Erdogan's visit to Baghdad last April.

During the meeting, they also discussed the development road project within the framework of the quadrilateral joint agreement between Iraq, Turkey, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, and discussed the obstacles to the project and efforts to implement it within the stipulated timeframe.
