The head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Jalal Talabani, visited the headquarters of the Council for the Protection of the Higher Interests of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and was received by the head of the council, Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa.
During the meeting، the political situation in the Kurdistan Region and the post-election phase were discussed، and the cooperation of all organs and institutions of the PUK was emphasized so that everyone can work together to succeed in the national program of the PUK and serve the people more.
During the meeting، President Jalal Talabani praised the role of Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa and the Council for the Protection of Higher Interests in the success of the PUK and pointed out that we look at the role of PUK leaders and fighters and appreciate their efforts and struggles for Kurdistan. "We're going to continue to work with the people who have served the people and the country." PUK president said.
President Bafel reiterated his full support and cooperation for the success of the duties of Sheikh Jaafar and the Council for the Protection of the High Interests of the PUK and said: "With the same spirit of Kurds and PUK، we will continue the wise policy of President Mam Jalal، and our goal is to achieve a more stable future and a stronger region، and for this we will take steps with a new strategy and fulfill the promise we made with the blood of the martyrs and the people of Kurdistan."
In his remarks، Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa thanked the President of the PUK for his keenness to improve the lives of his citizens and correct the wrong path of governance.
