PUK Council for the Protection of the High Interests congratulates Mr. Rebwar Taha on his appointment as Governor of Kirkuk.
"The appointment of the new governor of Kirkuk is an important achievement for the issue of peaceful coexistence between the components of Kirkuk and the political and administrative balance in the province." the Council said in a statement.
"We are confident that the governor will continue to uphold and enforce the law in the interest of all constituents and for the development of the province in the future. We hope that this will be the beginning of a new era of service and development in Kirkuk and that there will be no trace of neglect of the true will of Kirkuk." added.
