On Sunday evening, 1/6/2025, H.E. Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region, received H.E. Mr. Daniel Hun, Ambassador of Switzerland to Iraq.
During the meeting، they discussed the relations between Switzerland and the Kurdistan Region، the latest political developments in Iraq and the region، the formation of the new Cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government، relations between Erbil and Baghdad، resolving problems within the framework of the constitution and a number of common and important issues between the two sides.
During the meeting، the two sides stressed the need to improve relations between Switzerland and Iraq and the Kurdistan Region، and stressed the importance of unity among the political parties of the Kurdistan Region in order to form and establish the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
